Influence of the granulometric composition of quartz sand on the technological properties of molding compounds

Object of research - development of optimal compositions of plastic molding compounds and a mathematical model based on LPτ evenly spaced sequences.
Subject of research - quartz sand, strength, permeability, obsypaemost, density, porosity.
Objective - study of the effect size distribution of quartz sand on the technological properties of molding compounds, the determination of the optimum ratio grain filler in the amount of the mixture in order to achieve its optimum properties.
Research Methods - experimental study of changes in the technological properties of molding compounds (as defined in wet and dry gas permeability, strength, obsypaemosti, density, porosity) depending on the particle size distribution of the filler - river quartz sand fractions - 0315, 04 and 063 with the use of statistical methods.
The results obtained can be used to create mixtures for forming foundry with predetermined properties.
Areas of use - making molds to produce high-quality castings.
