Processes of formation of cast aluminum alumina composite castings made using recycling products

Master's dissertation:  p., fig,  tab., Reference.

Object of research – aluminum matrix composite material, reinforced with recycling products.

Subject of research – structure and casting properties of aluminum matrix composite material obtained by mechanical kneading.

The purpose of the work is to create a resource–saving technology for the production of composite materials, using recycling products, as well as studying their casting properties.

Methods of research – in the work methods of making composites using mechanical kneading and centrifugal casting are used.

The results of the research – it was established that during the reinforcement of composite materials by recycling products, the rarefaction of exogenous composite materials decreases with increasing of the reinforcing particles introduced, and the introduction of casting particles in aluminum alloys AK7, AK12, AL25 in an amount up to 6 wt% reduces the average absolute Capacity shrinkage by 2%.

The degree of implementation - laboratory tests.

Areas of application – machine building, metallurgy, mining.

Foreseeable assumptions about the development of the research object – the reinforcement of composite materials with recycling products should be used to reduce the absolute volume of shrinkage and increase wear resistance.
